DAN " BIG DOG" HOLROYD
Dan's interest in the paranormal ranges from spirit investigation to UFOs and all in between. He went through the Law Enforcement program at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Upon graduation, He joined the Navy and served until 1986. He graduated from Pima Community College in Tucson in 1990 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art / Cartooning. In 1993, He moved to Atlanta where He began his career in law enforcement and private security. He worked the Olympics and was also trained at the Georgia State Police post in Marietta. He has been trained as an investigator and well versed in surveillance and evidence collection techniques, due to his experience in law enforcement and private security. In the beginning of 2008, He began paranormal investigations in his first group "The Para-Normals" in Kalamazoo Michigan. In August of 2009, He founded the group he assembled to date (SMP) Southern Michigan Paranormals.SMP has investigated over 94 private cases and 106 Historic sites in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois.
In 2009 he was contacted by "Barb Bardon" of the Livingston county Visitors Bureu about possibly doing ghost Tours in Howell Michigan based on his groups investigations. She had read an article in the local paper about SMP's investigation of the Howell main Street Winery and thought it would be a great community event. The mission was and still is to bring tourism and economic value to the downtown sector as well as the county through such an endeavor.
In 2010 the tours began and became a great success and are now visited from as far as Texas, Chicago, Wissconsin, Ohio, Indiana and beyond.
NICOLE BRAY
Nicole Bray, founder of the West Michigan Ghost Hunters Society, delved into the paranormal world at a young age. Growing up in a house where the former owner had committed suicide, Nicole began to research the phenomenon that was surrounding her on a daily basis. Eventually her passion of the paranormal led her to start one of the best known investigative teams in Michigan.She is also the Author of the Paranormal Michigan Book series.
VICKSBURG TOUR
This Historic tour will travel through the Historic downtown streets viewing the history and hearing the fantastic tales of lives and hauntings, We then move onto the Historic Vicksburg elementary school where it is documented that Vicksburg's founder is still said to be buried under the school gymnasium floor, We then cross through the back ally of small town America to the Historic Bair Library and ending this walk in time at the Rawlinson appliance store building where the Historic Vicksburg fire station and jail were located in the past.
